How to Use
🪞Horn plate edge — gua sha for neck, shoulders & limbs
- Prep: apply a thin layer of body oil or lotion so the edge glides without pulling on the skin.
- Angle: hold the plate at a low angle to the skin (about 30–45°), using the smooth curved edge.
- Direction: stroke in one direction — for example, from the neck down toward the shoulders, or along the arms and legs. Avoid rubbing back and forth.
- Pressure: light to medium. Comfort comes first; it should never feel sharp or painful.
- Duration: about 3–5 minutes per area. Light, temporary pinkness is common; wait until it fades before treating the same area again.
🪮Five-tooth end — scalp & pressure points
- Scalp glide: hold the wooden body and let the rounded teeth part the hair and reach the scalp. Glide in one direction, from the hairline back toward the crown.
- Scalp circles: alternatively, rest the teeth on the scalp and make slow, small circles with light pressure.
- Pressure point: the smooth teeth can also press gently on tight spots of the neck and shoulders — press, hold a few seconds, then release.
- Pressure: light to medium — a comfortable massage, never scratching.
- Duration: 1–2 minutes per session, once or twice a day, or anytime you want a moment to slow down.
