Description
✨ Genuine Yak Horn, Hand-Carved for Daily Ritual
- 🪵Streaked Amber Grain — Deep caramel bands run through the horn like natural wood grain, no two pieces striped the same way.
- 🐚Wave-Base Tine Spread — Rounded tines flare out from a soft, wave-shaped base, each tip smooth and gently rounded.
- 📜Ancient TCM Heritage — Crafted from genuine horn, a revered healing material documented in Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 2,000 years.
- 🌾Pure & Chemical-Free — Natural, undyed, and chemical-free for safe, daily contact.
How to Use
🪮Rake end — scalp
- Prep: use on dry hair, or add a drop of oil to the tines for a smoother glide.
- Angle: hold at a slight angle, letting the rounded tines part your hair and reach the scalp.
- Direction: glide in one direction — from the crown outward, or root to end. Avoid scrubbing back and forth.
- Pressure: light to medium — you should feel a comfortable massage, never scratching.
- Duration: 1–2 minutes per session, once or twice a day, or anytime you want a moment to slow down.
✋Beaded handle end — palm & arm
- Best for: smaller areas like the palm and arm, where the slender handle can roll smoothly — not intended for wider areas like the back.
- Motion: roll or glide the beaded handle gently across the palm, or along the arm in one direction.
- Pinpoint tip: the rounded tip at the very end is well-suited for pinpoint pressure on a specific spot — press gently, hold for a few seconds, then release, following general acupressure practice.
- Pressure: light is enough — let the beads glide rather than press hard.
- Duration: a minute or two on each hand or arm, whenever you'd like a short moment of relaxation.
Our horn tools are hand-shaped from natural horn, sourced as a byproduct of the meat and agriculture industry (including Yak, White Water Buffalo, and Argali) — no wild or endangered animals are ever harmed. Every piece carries its own natural grain, blood-streak markings, and subtle tone variation; these are signs of a genuine, mature material, not imperfections.
Natural Material & Craftsmanship
- Horn fibers, natural blood streaks, texture cores, veins, and crust markings are inherent characteristics of genuine horn material, not defects.
- You get what you see. Subtle variations in shape, texture, and size are expected and celebrated as part of its unique handmade nature.
- Apart from natural material variations, please note that the actual product color, shade, texture, and level of transparency may vary slightly due to different photographic lighting sources or your digital display monitor settings.
Safety & Usage Guidance
- Intended for gentle wellness and self-care use — start with light pressure and adjust to comfort.
- Avoid use on broken, irritated, or sunburned skin, and avoid direct contact with the eyes.
- If you have a skin condition, are pregnant, or have a health concern, consult a healthcare practitioner before use.
- This is a wellness tool, not a medical device, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.
Care Instructions
- Avoid soaking in water, exposure to high heat, and dropping. Clean with cold water, dry thoroughly immediately, and apply a light coat of oil (e.g., olive oil) occasionally. Store in a sealed bag when not in use.
